Drag and Drop Interface
The entire scheduling interface was built around the ability to drag and drop employees and jobs onto the schedule. The entire act of scheduling can be done with the click of the mouse. |

Schedule From Anywhere
The scheduling interface works on any Microsoft Windows computer that is connected to the internet. The installation process is a one click setup and automatically updates itself each time it is launched. You may install multiple copies at work, home, or anywhere as needed. |

Unit View
One of the three ways to view and edit your schedule focuses on the unit view. Here you will see your staffing requirements and employees who are scheduled to work at that unit. Overages are shaded in yellow, Under staffed are shaded red, and properly filled requirements are green. |

Employee View
One of the three ways to view and edit your schedule focuses on a single employee. You select an employee and you see all shifts and PTO for a schedule. |

Platoon View
One of the three ways to view and edit your schedule focuses on a single platoon. You will see each member of the platoon similar to the employee view, allowing you to set an entire platoon's schedule in a single screen. |

Precision up to 15 minutes
Our scheduling editor allows precision up to 15 minutes, and you may zoom out to 15, 30, or one hour view. |

Access to PTO
Paid Time Off shifts are shown directly on the schedule editor. In a single click you can convert an existing shift to PTO or back. Hours can be automatically deducted from the employee's PTO bucket. |

Call Offs
In a single click you can mark a shift as a call off. Additionally, you may record some basic details about the call off and send out an alert to your staff about filling this call off. |

Historical Schedules
Schedule history is kept from the very first day you start using PlanIt. At any time you can return to a previous schedule. |

Customizable
The schedule can be visually customized by defining the colors for each job type worked, the default time length of certain shifts, and each unit, employee, and platoon can have their own picture. |

Tool Tips
Simply moving your mouse over a shift displays a tool tip that shows you details about each shift. |

One Click Schedule Creating
Schedules are created with a single click; the process takes your staffing requirement templates, your employee templates, and their PTO requests and creates the majority of schedule for you. |

Filling Open Shifts
Using the templates, PlanIt can project your open shifts as far out in the future as you desire. You can take requests to fill the open shift and approve those requests at any time. When the schedule is created those approved requests are automatically inserted. |

PTO and Open Shifts
If an employee who normally works each Monday takes off a Monday six months in the future, PlanIt is ready, by creating the open shift as soon as the PTO request is accepted, and helping to fulfill it immediately. |

Unit (Staffing Requirement) Templates
Each unit has a template to establish the staffing requirements. These templates help identify open shifts. |
|
Employee Templates
When employees have a known recurring schedule, it can be created in a template. Each time a schedule is created; these recurring shifts are automatically added. |

Employee Base Templates
Similar to employee templates, but it doesn't focus on just one employee. You can assign a template to multiple employees. If an employee leaves your organization, the template remains. |

Rotating/Kelly Templates
This feature combines multiple templates to establish a rotating reoccurrence. Rotating templates are supported from 2 weeks to 20 weeks. |

Template Revisions
When an employee needs to deviate from the normal template for a set period of time, a revision can be established. When the time frame has ended, the employee returns to their normal schedule. |

Template Overview
The template overview feature allows administrators on a single screen see how their template strategy is going to work for a selected future pay period. |

Schedule Reports
PlanIt offers an extensive array of scheduling reports, each with its own unique view on your schedule and the majority of the reports allow you to input your own parameters to determine what is shown. |

Availability Tool
The availability tool allows you to drag a tool onto your schedule. You define the job type and the length of the shift, the availability tool returns a list of employees who are qualified and available to work that shift. |

Availability Shading
When working with employees the schedule editor automatically shades time periods as orange where an employee has marked he/she is not available to work. |
|
Shift Notes
Notes can be appended onto a shift, resulting in a note icon being placed on the shift. Employees can see these notes on their shifts when viewing their own schedule. This feature allows administrators to input special directions for shifts. |

Schedule Status
The schedule status tool allows you to see hours for each week by unit or employee. It also alerts you to possible over staffing, under staffing, conflicts, or over time situations. |

Schedule Settings
Each schedule has its own settings allow you to turn on and off features like: edit delegation, hiding the schedule, open shift requests, time sheets, and locking the schedule. |

Court Appearances
Court appearances are shown directly on your schedule. |

Warnings
A warnings system is built into the schedule editor to help warn you about possible scheduling problems in your current schedule. |

Incentives
If your organization uses volunteer retention programs, the incentive points award per shift can be shown on the shift itself and can be modified with the click of a mouse. |

Vehicle Checklists
Vehicle check lists can be assigned and shown on each shift. |

Delegate Scheduling Tasks
Administrators can keep a schedule locked out from any edits except their own, and when ready they can release the schedule for pre-approved employees to help maintain the day to day maintenance of the schedule. |
